The Canal & River Trust is the charity that cares for and brings to life 2,000 miles of canals and rivers across England & Wales, creating places and spaces that can be used and enjoyed by everyone, every day.
We were asked to create an identity that captured how being by water makes us all feel, and to avoid stereotypical images representing canals and boats.
Our Reflection Symbol references the ripples of water and bridges found across the UK’s inland waterways. and comes in a range of colours representing nature and water.
The brand identity has been implemented across England and Wales and the Trust has subsequently seen a ‘visitor satisfaction’ figure of 87% reflected in year on year income growth.
